Cylinder Locks

Here are a few of the most common locks you will find on the market place

There are quite a few cylinder locks on the market but they generally all work the same way in principle, it’s a tumbler within a cylinder with different length pins that match the unique cut of the key. When the correct key is inserted, the pins all line up allowing the inner tumbler to turn freely, retracting the latch. Replacing or opening these locks is common practice for a locksmith.cylinder-locks_clip_image0021-226x300
